This multiplayer turn based first person shooter game was successfully created by effort of small group of 5 developers. In this couch party turn-based-shooter core gameplay is revolving around player positioning, camera angles and timing. As a part of Manifest Urban Arts Festival in Chicago hosted a tournament with over 20 participants and viewers.
On this project I was creative director. I came up with unique and fun gameplay mechanics, consulted level designer, communicated art style. My biggest contribution in terms of developments was balance and UI design. I programmed and thought out UI in main menu with unique art style and game theme in mind. Biggest challenge was UI for player select. I solved a problem of teaching players how to play and figuring out what corner of the sreen they are controlling at player select screen with my UI design. This way when people jumped to actual game they would be more prepared. For main game UI I focused on usability and informativeness that would not take away from game experience.
